Need Some Info. On Tucker Georgia

First known as a militia district in 1821, the district of Tucker, Georgia, was eventually transferred from Henry County to Dekalb County in 1822. Throughout the American Civil War, Tucker was a site of camps and it is said that twelve graves around Main Street belong to Confederate soldiers. Following the Civil War, Tucker was chosen to be a station for the Georgia, Carolina and Northern Railway in 1892.
